The Sharkoon QuickPort XT HC allows the comfortable connection of a SATA HDD to a PC or laptop via USB 3.0. Also, an integrated USB 3.0 hub and included card reader for SD/MMC cards come built-in. The docking station is suitable for a 2.5" HDD/SSD or a 3.5" HDD. The HDD/SSD can be easily inserted into the drive bay of the QuickPort. The internal SATA port on the docking station supports SATA Revision 3.0 and is backwards compatible with older revisions, as well.
Connection to the PC occurs via the included USB 3.0 cable. The external interface provides, thanks to the USB 3.0 support, a transfer rate up to 5 Gbit/s. The same transfer rate applies to peripherals connected to the USB 3.0 hub. The integrated card reader connects via USB 2.0. The included power adapter acts as the power supply.
